José María Gil

Full Professor

José María Gil received the Ph.D. degree in 1993, from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. From August 1995 to February 1996 and from August 2005 to February 2006 he was as a visiting academic at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mc Gill University, Montreal, Canada. From September 2009 to January 2010 he was as a visiting professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, EEUU. His main field of interest includes numerical methods in electromagnetics, computer-aided design methods for microwave passive circuits and antennas, and the biological effects of electromagnetic fields.
