Juan Córcoles Ortega

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Juan Córcoles was born in Albacete, Spain, in 1981. He received the Ingeniero de Telecomunicación degree (B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering) and the Ph.D. degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2004 and 2009, respectively.

From 2010 to 2023, he was with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, where he became an Associate Professor in 2015. In 2023, he joined Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he is part of the Applied Electromagnetics Group.

His research interests include applied and computational electromagnetics, particularly in the development of numerical methods and optimization techniques for the analysis and design of microwave circuits, antennas, and other related applications.
